DESIGN TIPS
In this section you will find many links to outside sources you will find very valuable. It isn't necessary (or even possible) for me to include, for example, a complete HTML tutorial on this site when there are so many good ones already out in cyberspace. Why re-invent the wheel? In some cases, the links will take you to articles I have written myself to consolidate a number of ideas into one fairly brief article, along with suggested downloads, etc. The next window that opens will contain a window within a window, and each new link you click within that page will open up within that window-in-a-window. This, too, is a technique you may want to use on your own site, since it works like frames, but without the hassles. It allows you to create a master page with one navigation menu that works for all the other pages within that section. |

improve your web design techniques. These are not programs so much, but
tips and tutorials aimed more at web design, as opposed to the Web
Guide, which is a more general guide to the Internet from the user's
viewpoint. The Free Tools Section contains a truckload of free programs,
online tools, code snippets, etc.
